ABSTRACT
El objeto de este trabajo es informar sobre los organismos internacionales responsables de legislar sobre el dopaje, el listado de sustancias prohibidas y los criterios de inclusión de cada una de las monodrogas en ese listado. Se hace referencia a la responsabilidad médica, deportiva y penal, de su indicación a un deportista. Asimismo, se plantean aspectos del uso de drogas sociales en el deporte y reflexiones para enfrentar esta problemática.
The aim of this work is to inform about the international organizations that legislate on doping, the list of forbidden substances, as well as the inclusion criteria of each of the monodrugs included in such list. The article makes reference to the medical sports and criminal responsibility of prescribing those substances to a sportsman. In addition, aspects on the use of social drugs in sports and reflections to deal with this problem are described.
